I wanted to like this place since it is a block from my house. My visit occurred on a Sunday, which could help explain why the experience was so poor. The salesperson wasn't especially rude. I think they just didn't want to waste their time explaining the differences between the selection of parts. He also forgot to give me back my dustcap after deflating my tire. Granted that is a small and petty thing, but it does display a lack of attention to detail. I decided to buy my replacement wheel at a co-op instead. The price was higher but still worth it. The features were explained to me by a helpful person and I managed to learn something from them.

I was anticipating a little bit of snobbery as you sometimes encounter when shopping for sports gear. None of that here, I visited three times and worked with someone different each time. In all cases, I found the experience great. Very laid back but still very helpful. They don't talk down to you or over your head. Great selection of bikes even though I ended up having to order mine. Arrived in short order and was perfect when I picked it up. Definitely include this store on your list if you need a bike.

Shopped all around town for mountain bike rental for my cousin visiting for the weekend they were half the price of any other rental shop and were very easy to deal with
