What great service! A couple of these guys came to do a repair on our furnace and water heater today. Turns out we had a haywire squirrel living in the exhaust vent. These guys trapped it and released it outside. That thing had been terrorizing my wife for days, I thought she was lying about it. Should change your name to Highland HVAC and Pest Control haha!

Decided to replace an old furnace, got a referral from a friend of mine for Highland, got a quote quickly, and a date shortly after. Our tenants at a rental unit were experiencing no heat from the furnace.  I called Highland Heating, and talked to their office.  They got a technician to contact me back quickly, and dispatched to site soon after.  All good to that point.  Upon arrival and diagnosis, the technician informed me that both the exhaust blower and circulation fan had failed, and that replacement of the entire furnace would be a more cost effective solution than replacing both of these components.  The quote came through at $2500 for a furnace with 5 year parts warranty, 5 year extended parts to be completed by me and 2 year labour warranty.  Being sceptical, I sought the opinion of another service tech who found, through testing and diagnosis with a multimeter, that a 24VAC control transformer had failed.  He had the issue resolved and the heat on in 2 hours.  The overall cost was less than $200.  I am still being charged for the service call from Highland $119.95, for an incorrect diagnosis, and no problem resolution.  Be wary of an incorrect diagnosis by Highland Heating.  Ask lots of questions about their diagnosis before proceeding with their suggested solutions.  Seek a second opinion if you have reason to doubt that a complete replacement of your furnace is necessary.

Furnace broke down 7 days ago. Still no response to my phone message. So I called back to see about a new furnace to buy ...got a call back in less than 10 minutes. What a terrible company. Stay away.NegativeResponsiveness

Our Fantech HRV is not working and we have been calling the company since June to ask for a service person to come and repair, but so far we have not been successful now in October and still counting.  The reason we have been calling the company is that they installed it, and the warranty on our Fantech HRV has not expired.

Terrible customer service, been trying to get them to come and fix 3 faulty bathroom fans that they installed for the past 6 months and I can't even get them on the phone anymore.  Also the HRV system they have installed is not working.  Thousands of dollars and I can't even get a date scheduled for the past 6 months. If you hire them don't pay them until you make sure everything is functioning.

I had to call them twice for a quote on central air. They didn’t show up either time.  Didn’t even give a courtesy call for the no show. 2 days off work I’m not getting paid for!   F*** these guys!!

Showed up on time. Very professional. Team was polite and answered all my questions. Cleaned up everything afterwards, even swept the floors.
