Beautiful place to stay and dine. Valet guys were super nice, helpful (they helped lift my wheelchair out of our van and back in when we left) and super friendly. The Davenport is like walking into a palace. We ate at the Peacock lounge. The only reason why I'm not giving it a five-star is because while the meal was good I feel it could have been a little better I had the wild prawns and hubby had salmon with fettuccine and he said that the salmon was just okay because the salmon didn't have any flavor... other than that I would definitely recommend going there.

Loved the stay. Rooms were adequately sized and the beds were all they were hyped up to be! Found it difficult to peel myself off the classic Davenport pillow top each morning...till I remembered the fluffy robe and walk-in shower awaiting me. I also really like the secure elevator feature of staying in the penthouse suites. Only negative thing was the valet parking. A little expensive and not coordinated as well as it could be. We asked the hop to have valet ready our vehicle while loading luggage cart at checkout. After completing checkout with concierge we ended up having to wait again even though we were the only guests just then. Ideally the car should have been at the ready, bags inside when we were through with checkout. Not delayed a full half hour and gouged almost $30 extra for the privilege.

Amazing hotel with an awesome history. We were there checking out the annual Christmas Tree event that supports the Spokane Symphony. It was very crowded but everyone was chill, sharing space and having a good time. The trees were amazing and though we didn't buy any tickets to try and win one we may go back next year with a plan to do so. Great restaurants, lots of historical information to browse through, a great visit overall. If you are going through Spokane this would be a worthwhile stop.

My husband & I have stayed here multiple times. While we love the elegance of the Hotel & the Amazing Sunday Brunch, we have not been impressed the last 2 visits by the beds! The king beds, while heavenly at first, sunk & bowed to the middle. This last stay, I felt like Tom Hanks in The Money Pit! In addition, our room had a broken thermostat which made for a very stuffy night. Worst of all were the trains & being right next to the elevator! Maybe if the bed wasn’t so uncomfortable & I was able to get comfortable to sleep, those noises wouldn’t have been so obvious. Doubtful. Upon checking out, while voicing the pros & cons of our stay to a young man named Ethan at Concierge, he was less than helpful or considerate. While we did not expect any discount or compensation for our unpleasant stay, this young man didn’t even apologize or offer any advice for quieter rooms for our next stay. My husband finally asked him if there were specific rooms or areas of the Hotel to request that would be away from the train tracks. He provided us a rather confusing answer that I cannot recall all details other than, the deluxe rooms face the tracks. We will return for the brunch but will consider overnights at a neighboring location.

Everything about the hotel is wonderful! It's one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The only thing I would change is for the hotel to have fridges or mini fridges installed into the rooms. I would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.
