Nice room. I have no real complaints. My only kind of complaint would be that the complimentary breakfast was lacking. But that's silly to complain about, since it's free. I ate it, and I'd eat it again. Hotel is in an excellent location. Right by bars, restaurants, a library. Anything you need is within a mile. Very diverse population too. If I stayed in Berkeley again this would be my first choice.

Ok hotel. Pleasant staff, clean rooms. Would not walk around this neighborhood at night. Not much in the way of family restaurants in walking distance.

A basic room with all that's required. A comfy bed and decent Internet. A dismal breakfast featuring the worst omelet I've ever tasted and coffee so dreadful that it qualifies as a crime against humanity.

The room was nice, staff friendly. The breakfast is a little better than the normal HI express breakfast. I was on the second floor facing the street. I could hear the traffic noise like the window was open. The window was closed, it's just very thin. Also it didn't lock which is a little disturbing.

Hotel is comfortable, but a little outdated. Nice location and feels safe.
