It is sooo comfortable, quiet & the owners are lovely people when you see them . It is so close to many fun spots in Berkeley . I highly recommend it.

This place is simply the best kept secret in the peninsula to enjoy a fine beer and get away from your typical watering hole.    Right off Broadway in RWC the owners of Stuart House - Volker and Mary Anne really make you feel at home with their friendly service and personable touch.    If you like German/Euro culture and beer, which is only the best beer in the world, as well as home cooked German food this is the place for you.   The beer here you can't find anywhere, unless you fly to Germany of course!   You can either sit inside or outside, but either way their is usually is plenty of seating - unless you come on a Thursday or Friday evening - the place gets pretty busy, but thats also the best time to be here too  - great people!    Also dogs and kids are welcome too.   I come here with my wife, daughter and dog to enjoy a pint on a nice day and I'm not alone on that family outing either, lots of young couples/families congregate here too.  You'll find all walks of life here, but at the end of the day they are all are here for the same reason, unquestionably - the wonderful service and delicious beer!
