Place is overpriced and terrible produce and salad bar. Bakery is a dump and over priced as well. If you need napkins or something at 1am it's good because they are open 24 hours.

I love Hy-Vee and I've been to quite a bit of their locations around IL, IA, WI, and KS.  Food was good, once we got it.  Unfortunately, our server was terribly slow and when I went to the bar to get our drinks (full bar) I asked the bartender why there was such a long wait.  When she confronted "one of their better servers", "Caid or Cade", he walked out the door and walked off the job.  The rest of the staff did a great job making the situation right but apparently all of the tables served by this server were waiting forever.  I'd give them another shot, but not at full-price.  They do have good daily specials that I'd try out.

Excellent food. On Sundays, the brunch option is huge. Price is fair. Good place for groups with children. A special place to have food and then do your groceries!
