This was my first time at the Hyde Park Steakhouse, and I had a great experience. The food was great, the service was good. The manager even laid a non-slip rug on the tile leading to the ladies room when I had mentioned the floor was slippery. The place is nice, definitely worth visiting.

4 stars for now and that's just based off Happy Hour!!! Hyde Park was a great experience. Reminded me of the swanky St. Francis Hotel in San Fran with that old world classy charm. The menu for HH is between the hours of 4-6:30pm, & was priced well: $5/6/7 items. Great mixed concoctions, and a great mix of small plates. I went traditional & tried their Calamari. It was tasty, as it was tossed in a sweet chili sauce mixed with some fried jalapeno, peanuts, and slivered carrots, & scallions. They have a lump crab wedge salad at $12 that looked pretty yum. My fellow eater munched on a flourless lava torte, which is rich & decadent, and could be shared. Going back soon to try the rest of the menu!

Been to this restaurant twice in Sarasota, Once in Daytona both are great, but on my way back to Sarasota where they first treated me like a real VIP customer, first it was the Host introducing me to the server then the Server introduced me to the Master Chef I felt like I was in Paradise, I will be there the third week of June. I am a person that has traveled internationally around the world and the US, but this Steak is the most tasteful juicy and amazing eat. Thank You Hyde Park Steakhouse for treating my wife and I as royalty. See you soon.

The service was great and the prime rib that my girlfriend had is probably one of the best ones we've had so far. However, I'm pretty disappointed with the beef Wellington that I ordered. It was far more overcooked than the medium rare they claim it is and wasn't that great, definitely not worth $35. I was also expecting the beef Wellington to be a slice of a log in the whole filet, like what I've seen on cooking shows. The piece of filet used was way too small, in my opinion. I would definitely come back for the prime rib but would not recommend the beef Wellington to anyone.

Best steakhouse in downtown Sarasota. Their bar area is also a good place to stop by for a cocktail.
