It's a bar. It's smoky. Most of the bartenders are friendly and serve up drinks quickly. The sound is good for the AMI jukebox and lots of big Tv's for sports. I've never had a bad time here.

I go there for a good smoke. They have some very sweet and beautiful bartenders, 2 named Jaime. Very friendly and good service.

Fun, active, bar. Dozens of TV's and cool graphics with the music. The walk-in humidor and cigarette counter is great and convenient. Nice views of main street and a cool open patio. Drinks are fairly inexpensive. During the day it's mostly packed with business men and day-drinkers, but at night, the crowd changes to young people and a mix of the above. The staff are generally friendly and accommodating,  but a handful of bartenders are arrogant and you might have to ask for your tab 2-3 times. Otherwise, it's a great bar and can't be beat.

Smoking Joes is a local watering hole known to many Sarasota natives. It is notorious for being packed wall to wall on the weekends, mostly due to the thin and long layout of the bar itself. Although though to navigate, this bar is a no BS kind of establishment. The bartenders are quick and don’t usually show signs of “bar bias” (cherry picking pretty girls, friends, or big tippers). Wouldn’t recommend it if you have an issue with small places or smokey bars, if the name didn’t give that away.

Decent place for a smoke....very basic cocktails so this is not a craft cocktail bar at all..... it is a little clique and caters more to regulars. When you T. I.P. Large at the bar.... it will not insure proper service when trying to get a drink.... the bartenders dont acknowledge crazy good tips.... the take it and turn their back... not a thank you nod or even eye contact so that's not helping their cause. Cigar bar has a decent selection and they're stored properly. All in all..not a bad stop in.... needs hospitality training really bad.... drunks dont care and that may be there best target customer.... not sure.... but this is Sarasota so I'd say examine your policies for hospitality.
