I love this place. Karmen is always awesome and personable.
And Liz is a great manager, she is always making sure everyone is happy.
Today I was served by Sarah and she was really nice and made sure I had everything I needed.

We were treated to two very well-made salads from the Sarasota Originals lunch menu. I wish Mattison's offered more coldwater fish like the Norwegian salmon I had. It is far superior to the Atlantic salmon and any of the Gulf warm water fish that are on the regular menu at all of his restaurants. I left one star off because I would rather have had a larger piece of salmon and more greens in place of the key lime pie that came in place of the larger meal portion.  (The pie, however, was absolutely out of this world authentic right down to the thick graham cracker crust.) The service was adequate & the atmosphere wonderful for a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Warm beer and rude bartender. My wife was served a warm bottle of beer and the bartender said oh well do you want me to throw it away? He threw it away and slapped a refund on the Bar and walked away as if he was upset that she mentioned it. We left very disappointed and will most likely never return!

Great atmosphere.  Awesome band The New Digs with RD Bailey as lead singer.  I'll go back anytime they are playing there for sure.  Good service and drinks.
