We want to make it convenient and affordable for everyone to incorporate health and fitness into their everyday lives. Come in and workout at the newest fitness center in Northeast Cedar Rapids.

Story

Proper fitness is important, but not everyone has the time to dedicate to intensive workout routines. That’s why iGYM, a branch of M.A.C., offers quality equipment and quick workout sessions for local Cedar Rapids, IA residents who are on the go.

Our local fitness center offers members a convenient way to get their workouts in without disrupting their busy schedules. Members can take advantage of our modern equipment and cardio, strength and total fitness classes.

This gym is fine for your regular workout routine and basic wants/needs. My major complaint is the payment system. I had my account on "freeze" and ended up getting fined for the yearly fee. After trying to get that back and cancel my membership, I was told I needed to "unfreeze" my account and then pay an additional monthly fee to cancel. The communication about all of this was not clear when I signed up, nor when I was on the phone with the company in charge of payments. Disappointed with the payment system. Regardless- if you're looking for a basic gym and understand freezing fees and cancellation fees then this gym is fine.

An affordable gym option. For $15 per month you have access to a gym full of equipment and lockers with shower stalls. Nothing fancy but equipment is new and the place is never too crowded. The hours could be better but it's still a great deal.

The facility is very clean and all the equipment is very well maintained. Staff is friendly and go above and beyond to help you in any way! I would recommend this gym to any who asked and I am happy I switched to iGym!

Always clean. No musty or smelly air. Rates are good, $60(ish) sign up fee then $15-$20 a month. Has a decent aerobics room which hosts classes from time to time. Just your standard gym. No sauna, steam room, pool or basketball court. Sundays this location is closed, but you can use the MAC which is 5 minutes down the road on that day and it has all of these amenities. Dumbbell weights go up to 75. You get better than what you pay for, but I'd pay a little more if it meant getting a sauna or steam room.

Great value for a gym. Hours are ok. Wish they were open Sundays. Equipment is plenty full and there usually isn't a wait. Free weight s only go up to 80lbs
