We visited last Sunday, 8/13/17.  The restaurant was in disgusting appearance with eggs, trash, etc all over the floors and many empty dirty tables.  There were only about 6 or 7 occupied tables when we arrived. 
 The bathrooms were equally disgusting.  Just like the old saying if the front of the restaurant looks horrible you can bet the kitchen is worse.  I shudder to think what the kitchen looked like.  Our server, Taryn, was the slowest, most inaccurate server I have had in a long time.  We waited nearly 20 minutes just to order and the restaurant was not that busy.  She also got two things wrong on my order (which she did correct on the bill).  I'll go to Village Inn next time.

Pros... good food and coffee!
Cons... the waitress on Sunday is just awful. Cussing loudly in Spanish, complaining, we waited several minutes for ordering, and for paying, even tho, the place was practically empty this afternoon.

Food is typical IHOP.   There is never a wait for a table and it's usually pretty empty.  However, there is always an unusually long wait for the food.  Why does it take so long to get served if there are only 3 other tables with people at them?  
Also, out last visit the waitress told me that the kids meals came with drinks.  I told checked that my kids could get Apple juice or chocolate milk included and she repeatedly told me "Yes".  
Guess what?  I was charged $1.90 per kid for your drinks.  When I complained and asked why she told me they were free she said "she made a mistake".  Then she refused to remove them from my bill... Instead of fighting and taking to the manager I simple told her she her no tip.  I'm also not going to go back for a while until there's been some training.

Our waitress was wonderful!  She thoughtfully and tactfully let us know she was the only one serving 30 tables, so we could still enjoy our time but also be thoughtful if conditions weren't as fast or efficient as the customer thought they should be.  I thought she was patient and very considerate.

Only two other tables in the place. Three of us were at the table, one got an omelet, the onions, mushrooms,  and spinach were raw, eggs were cold. Another got the potato soup, also cold, watery and only 3 peices of  potato, no bacon ,tasted terrible. Third got the two by two by two. Eggs were cold, pancakes were raw in the middle. Also got a hot chocolate, it was just hot water with whipcream on top. Waitress was nive enough to get me anoyher one. Almost everything that coyld go wrong with the food did. Very disappointed with the food. Wont be back.
