This place is busy, busy, busy on the weekends but I found out they do call ahead seating so I'll be sure to do that next time and get my name on the list early. Once we were seated the service was great, the food was delicious with large portion sizes, and the endless fresh rolls with honey butter are the best. We also tried one of their margaritas which was huge and tasty. Fun atmosphere for a date night out as well.

I had absolutely the best time at Riverton Texas Roadhouse. My server was easily the best one in the whole place. Her name was Elizabeth and she was simply amazing! To anyone who dines at this establishment, please request Elizabeth. You will receive beyond excellent service with a personal touch that is beyond compare. The food, as always, was delicious but that's only part of the reason I keep going back. As you would guess, I come back for the consistently excellent service from Elizabeth. However the management, who was mediocre, could use some tips from my excellent server on customer service.

Almost always a great experience.  Their food is good. They did have our waiter up-selling the steaks, which does not usually happen. All in all a good experience.  I just didn't care for the "push" for a more expensive meal.

During our wait and for our call ahead seating we were never told that you could not accommodate parties of larger than eight sitting at the same table.  I actually called the restaurant prior to our arrival to make sure they can accommodate parties of 10 or more. They told me they would be happy to accommodate us and never once mentioned that they could not seat our party together. The staff and the hostesses have plenty of opportunities to mention to us that we would not be able to sit together as even though we did call ahead seating we still had to wait in the lobby for at least 20 to 30 minutes. When I brought that up to the manager he acted very nonchalant and didn't care about my concerns. He said "this is the way our restaurant is designed, this is the way our restaurant is built, this is the way our restaurant is. We don't specialize in serving larger parties." Never offered an apology, or remorseful...let alone understanding that I was frustrated with the situation. He actually tried to divert me away from my concerns and said that his front staff was really good and he was surprised they never mentioned it to us. Basically calling me out as a liar. I was really disappointed in the management! He acted very arrogantly and treated as if all I was after was a free dessert or free food! I could've giving a damn about the food. It was overcooked and under cooked and a mess in every place that we ordered. The fact that we were sitting at two separate tables across the aisle and having two separate waiters to serve us was frustrating to say the least! Additionally I had two disabled people with me in our party...one of which was a little person and was called "a child sitting at the children's table" by one of your servers. That was highly offensive. I was disappointed in this location. I was disappointed in the staff. And I was most certainly disappointed with the manager. I will make sure to tell all of my friends about the terrible experience that we encountered last night. As well as informing the disabled community that I'm associated with that they are not handicapped accessible nor handicapped kind. And you bet I am leaving a negative review online. This was one of the worst dining out experiences I've ever had!

My favorite restaurant around the area that I live and the best Margaritas in all salt lake.
That's right people ...from  all the restaurants ice been to in all salt lake this place serves the BEST MARGARITAS!! OH FOOD IS AWESOME ALSO! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALSO AWESOME!!!
