My friends and I loved the museum. If you do go, plan on staying there for about 2 hours. They have a lot to look at and a lot of vidros to watch while going through the museum. Well worth the trip!!!

The experience was educational and emotional. I really needed more time to take in all the information. I will go again and bring family to experience this great educational experience!

The Museum has been an enlightening experience every time I have been here. My group has had the addition of hearing a Holocaust survivor each time we have come. An experience that cannot be matched.

Went with my son's 8th grade class. It was a beautiful place. The staff was friendly and very informative. A nice place to take children young and old for a history lesson.

As one of the reviews on here said, be prepared to spend at least a few hours because there is so much history. Whether you're a Jew or Gentile and you live in the state of Illinois, you must visit this museum. For anyone at any given time to say there was no Holocaust is a fool. Jewish or Christian you must come here to truly understand this story through the eyes of the Jewish people living it at the time. I don't think many other museums really capture this story the same way as this museum does. The exhibits are tremendous, rich with artifacts that all contribute to the telling of the suffering of an ancient people not too long ago if we think about it. This story must never be lost lest we make the same mistakes. It's amazing after so much suffering these people came from so much horror and contributed to our modern society in so many ways, in ways we take for granted. It's a must for anyone children and adult(by the way for much younger kids there are special exhibits for them if I'm right). God bless you guys.
