It's cool to see the original McDonald's as it was when it first opened unfortunately they've had it fenced off for the last few years so you can't see it close up anymore. What's the point of having a museum if you have to stand 30 feet away from it and can only see the exterior? Open the fences and I'd rate it 5 stars.

Very nice to see the first McDonald's franchise ever opened with an actual McDonalds next to it to eat after. Only bad part is, we went on a Thursday during the open hours given on Google maps, but when I turned up they were not open which was very disappointing. Bit of an upside was some of the history in the McDonald’s that was next door.

My boyfriend told me that you could go inside and see it up close years ago but ever since I moved here for little over a year they have never opened the gates and now I hear it's being torn down possibly? Big bummer and disappointment. :(

Awesome to see replica of first McDonalds! I think Chicago will forever miss this historical building after its destruction soon :(

Not worth to come to see it. It is closed. According to web should be open weekends between memorial day to labor day. Not true. It is just small bulding, gated. No way to come closer to take a picture. Waste of time . If you want to see it few old pictures ,they are in other McDonald " just around the corner.
