In September, 2016, we took my car, a Toyota FJ Cruiser to Import Auto Service, because it was recommended by a friend/part owner of the company, to have new rotors and brakes installed. We were assured more than once, by two different individuals, that the parts they would use were as good as the parts Toyota used. The original brakes that came with the car, lasted nine years. We decided to go with them because they were cheaper than Toyota, and the parts were supposed to be just as good. In December, 2017, I noticed that the car, once I got over 60 miles an hour, would vibrate the steering wheel, and basically the whole car when I would go to brake. I thought I needed to have the tires balanced. I took the car to have the tires balanced and rotated, and they found that the rotors were bad. My husband went by Import Auto, and was told that they would check with the parts company, and would get back to him. They did not call back. My husband called again, left a message, and was not called back. He then went back again and talked to them, and he was told that the manufacturer of the parts only warranted them for 1 year. I also called once, and talked to an individual, and told him the problem, and he said the person I needed to talk to was home sick, but he would have him call me on Monday. This person told me that they did thousands of brake jobs, and they would make it good. No one called me. I then called again two weeks later, and was told the parts were only warranted for 1 year, and there was nothing they could do. I told them on the phone, that it did not make sense, that I paid $1000 for a job that lasted just barely over one year, and now was going to have go somewhere else, and spend at least another $1000 again, for the same job, that I was told the parts were as good as those Toyota used. I have to honestly say, I would never recommend them to do a job for anyone!

These guys are very honest and up front with you about your cars issues and the best way to fix them. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Mike and other employees on my visits, or when I call for an appointment. I refer friends and family to them frequently. I HIGHLY recommend them, you won't be disappointed!

Called to get my son's car repaired a month ago. Was told to bring it up . The tow company they used did not go out of Springfield. Took it up they gave us a price we said fix it . Give them a check for $1500.00 My wife had to ask for a receipt. They were ask if it would be done by Christmas my wife was told not a problem. I did notice the check was cashed within hrs. I went by 3 weeks after found the car had not been touched and it was setting in the lot unlocked. The Owner said the tech was going to call . To date we have never gotten a call from anyone at the shop . The owner said they had problem ordering parts . I told them who to call in California to get them . If I have to chase parts and order then I think you need to refund my money for doing your you. My wife went by two weeks ago and they gave her the run around and told her I was they were waiting on me to get parts . ( Funny what my body cam cought. ) It's now been a month and no one has called us on the car nor is it done like the service writer told us it would be. Do not take your car there for service I will edit as soon as we here back from out attorney On the pending law suit !

This place came highly recommended to me by multiple people, but the oil change was $10 more than the last place I went, and there were indications they didn't check one or two of the things I asked them to. They were nice enough, but I'm not sure I can justify going back.

Very unhappy with the service recently. My son took his 2008 Chevrolet Malibu there for an oil change and get estimate on repair of Door actuators. It was difficult to understand the service writer over the phone but he wanted to charge me $259.00, I argued that this was out of line and asked him to explain. He quickly lowered the price to $178.77 which was still high for a visual diagnosis of the door actuators (nothing removed) an Oil change (synthetic), Oil filter and air filter. They used to be pretty fairly priced but have turned into a CLIP JOINT. Frank the owner works in the back that way he does not have to look people in the face when he shoves it in the rear.
