Had my wife in the Riverton Hospital ER with stomach pain today. Actually we started in the Insta-care facility. When the doctor saw her he told her she should go to the ER because they could diagnose her faster and better. They walked us over to the ER where they took very good care of her. Dr. Wilkinson was very nice and explained to her what they would do to diagnose her pain. Her nurse Carissa was very helpful, friendly, and overall just an outstanding nurse. Every interaction we had with the people there was pleasant even though they were going through some difficulty with their computers at the time. While my wife was having tests done I was able to go to the cafeteria and get some lunch which was very good. The only downside to this hospital is that apparently they are on a "no sugar" kick. You cannot get a sugared drink, soda or otherwise, in the entire hospital, nor anything like a candy bar. For those of us who would rather have real soda than one with some chemical they call fake sugar the option is to leave the hospital and go somewhere else. The most important thing is the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate so I guess I can overlook the goofy sugar thing.

Ridiculously LONG wait times!! Waited over 2 hours with my wife to see her doctor. Then I needed to get some blood drawn and they told me it would be a twenty min wait. An hour and twenty mins later and I'm STILL waiting! Terrible wait times and communication. Not even during a busy time. Says it is one of the LEAST busy times of the evening. I will never come back to this hospital.

I have been to Riverton Hospital a number of times over the last five years, usually for radiology. The care has been uniformly excellent, given by kind, conscientious, and competent professionals. The hospital feels new and clean and open. The landscaping is attractive and welcoming. I have never had to wait very long for appointments, perhaps because this hospital is still a hidden gem. And I really like the cafeteria too.

Brought my husband to the ER here last Sunday and we received excellent care! Of course, you are always nervous of going to ER even for minor things like sprains, strains, or tendon pulls, but the staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. We did wait for 45 min. but it is emergency so you expect that. I just want to mentioned though that Dr. Larrabee was a very helpful, informative, caring doctor. She took the time in an ER to explain back sprains to us and did all the tests she could to help him. I also want to mentioned the follow-up calls from this hospital show that you are not just a number to them, they care and want to make sure you are doing well after your visit. Thank you for the service we received from your hospital and your staff.

Came to the ER and was able to get such quick and efficient care. I was extremely nervous, as ER visits tend to be stressful, and the entire staff made me feel so comforted and relaxed through the whole process. I appreciated the attentiveness and care I got while here. Thank you!
