What can I say, it's the IRS. Don't be surprised when they look hurt and offended that you're not happy with their service, you're going to get screwed, they're just going to try to make you feel better that you got screwed a little bit less.

They take ten years just to get everyone done. Plus they are always short staffed no matter what time they are open.

Extremely inefficient service. 1.5 hour wait in overcrowded room. Absolutely no privacy. Everyone in room hears what your issue is, and how IRS is handling it. Only 2 out of the 5 windows are staffed. Staff is compassionate and caring, but cannot focus on your issue and get it resolved quickly. I watched/heard 3 people being serviced and the ratio of time spent vs. issues resolved is about 45 min per customer, but NOTHING resolved in the 3 hours I spent there. They get one star for their care and concern for the customer. The office is designed with security concerns rather than customer care/privacy.

Never answer the phone, tried getting transcripts online and was locked out due to errors with site. Going to have to drive an hour away to wait all day in a room full of pissy people. awesome.....
