Family owned and operated since 1968, Italian Village has become Salt Lake City’s favorite spot for authentic, delicious home-style Italian favorites. For almost fifty years, we’ve been serving our community everything from pizzas to lasagnas in a fun, friendly, and homey setting. Family atmosphere. I've been going there for almost 30 years. Good Italian food. Good value for the price. Not fancy but very comfy. Friendly staff.

Filling and tasty. The lunch special is a pretty good deal (around 10 or so). I tried their pizza bender and it was new but tasted like something I would have enjoyed as a kid. The Italian food isn't anything mind blowing but it's tasty for a good value.

Been going here for over 20 years and nothing has changed. Same setting, same plates, same pizza benders and same service. It is one of my favorite places to eat. In fact I drive from the Ogden vicinity to eat here... Oh and bring your appetite or clear a spot in the fridge for leftovers

We usually love Italian village. The food is good and prices are good. But tonight......the service was awful!!!!!!! We waited 15 plus min for any server to come to our table. And when she did she took our order then never came back. I had to flag down someone who was clearing a table if we could please have some refills in our drinks. Our server acted as if she was bothered that she was at work. The cashier at the front was less then pleasent not so much as a thank you or even looked us in the eye as we paid and zero personality. I will go back but next time I think I will get it to go.

Today I met my mom for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Italian village! We have been coming here for years, and it's one of our favorite places. We had a great meal, and asked for to go boxes. After we boxed up our stuff the server asked if she had cleared off the silver dish the pizza was brought out on. We told her yes we thought she had already cleared it with our other dishes. After the server walked away my mom moved her box, and said it was heavy. When she opened it up she realized the pan was in her box. She had boxed it up without even thinking. We took out the pan and set it on the table. We then gather our things to walk up front to pay. When we went up front I took my daughter into the restroom. We set our things on the bench up front while my mom paid the check, and I was in the restroom. My mom could not find her keys, so she walked away from our things to check the table. While we were both away from our to go boxes, our server apparently decided it was her place to walk over, and open up my moms pizza box to check to see if we had stole the silver plate. Luckily for me when I walked out of the restroom I saw her quickly walk away from our things, and my moms pizza box was half way open. I walked back over to the server and ask her if she opened my moms pizza box. She looked right at me and said "no" I said "really that's weird because I saw you walk away from our things and her pizza box is slightly opened". My mom had walked back over at this point, and asked her again if she seriously looked through her things. The server finally admitted she just checked because she didn't see the pizza pan on the table. Well this was the most ridiculous and infuriating experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I believe this was completely out of line and so ridiculous! I wish I could say I would never go back but I love this place so I will say she will never be my server again!
