All of the really savvy shoppers in town shop at J. August Jewelry. There is no need to shop the mall jewelry stores when you can shop here. They excel in their knowledge, service and pricing. This family owned business is a real "gem" in Amherst. Try them....you won't be disappointed!

We found such an outstanding jewelers and service at J. August Jewelers for our unique, made-to-order wedding/engagement rings. Jeff provided so much wonderful support and guidance when designing my wife's stunning ring which ended up far exceeding expectations when it was completed. Customer service was beyond terrific and pricing was extremely reasonable. As a result, I later placed a custom order with them for a unique men's wedding ring for myself which is extraordinary. We constantly get compliments on our rings and already have ideas for future creations that we want J. August Jewelers to be a part of. If you want the highest quality jewelry at an affordable cost with the best assistance and experience, look no further.

This is the best jewelry store around. I had a custom engagement ring made here and it was about half the price I was quoted at other jewelry stores in the area. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I don't like being lied to. I'm not stupid and don't like people treating me like I am. Blue topaz comes in silver settings all the time.

I had the best experience at this store. They were courteous,knowledgeable and most importantly honest and fair. All their repairs are done in the store. They can do platinum repair, which is an especially hard metal and hard to do. They have a large variety of gemstone jewelry, gold, silver, watches and costume jewelry. All at estate values. I will return again. Call to check their hours.
