At Jabberwock Reptiles, we love to share our passion for and expertise of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates at our Winchester pet store!

We have an outstanding selection of snakes, bearded dragons, tarantula, and so much more, plus everything you’ll need to care for your pet like caging and food. Finding the correct caging for your reptile or amphibian is important to their well-being and choosing the one that fits your home can be confusing. Let the experts at Jabberwock Reptiles help you find a cage that’s ideal for both your home and pet! Our trained staff will also assist you in finding the correct lighting products, heating options, and food for your particular species.

And be sure to ask about our many pet services! When you’re going out of town, trust Jabberwock Reptiles to provide a safe, clean home away from home for your pet for only $5 a day. Love to see all the animals. Staff seemed pretty knowlegable and were really fun to talk to. They were also really good with letting people hold some of the more fascinating animals which you don't get from a lot of other stores. Fantastic place with good customer service, would go everyday if I could!

Super knowledgeable staff, and great stock on hand all the time. Wide array pets, and everyone knows what you'll need for the novice to the advanced reptilian pet owner. Highly recommended, great store.

Store reeked of stale cigarette smoke. That can't be good for the animals. Wanted to become loyal customers of this store. Drove an hour to buy set-up for new reptile (and the reptile itself). Guy at counter intruded on our private conversation, about purchasing food online (sorry....we can't afford to not price compare; and i can't drive an hour every time we need food). The guy told us we were rude, from across the room; hhhhmmmmmm..... some displaced anger perhaps? Maybe cigarette withdrawal. I put our items down, and left. I'm not patronizing a place where a staff member tries to bully a sweet 16 year-old customer. None of the staff had greeted us, or asked if we needed any help selecting the many different items we were about to purchase (talk about rude).

Worth the drive even if you don't live nearby - I drive down from NH every so often. I come for the tarantulas - there is usually a big diverse stock of common and uncommon species and everything in between. I've bought probably 90% of my collection here. Plenty of other reptiles and inverts if tarantulas aren't your thing. I have been buying here since I discovered them in early 2016 and as most recently as yesterday. Every tarantula I've bought here was healthy and well taken care of at the store, and they are all still alive and thriving since under my care. Steve and his staff are all very nice and helpful with questions and to make sure you're equipped and know how to care and house your pet before buying. My favorite part is that I feel the prices are very fair especially compared to more local stores. Rarer species and females are expectedly higher priced, but those prices are still fair and lower than other stores, and you're getting a lot in quality for your money. Keep up the great work and great prices!

If you're into herps, this is the only place in the area and it's a great shop. The owner really knows his stuff and raises a bunch of what he sells. He's also very knowledgeable and helpful. Usually there are other herp aficionados in the store to chat with. Small family run business.
