I'm on the east coast and happened to discover Jim's amazing creations through good fortune and lucky searching. I reached out through his website and got a quick response with details for how we could collaborate over the distance...which is exactly what happened...Jim and I went back and forth sharing ideas and vision for what my ring could be. He delved into my life to extract meaningful symbols that meshed with his artistic design. The back and forth was smooth, easy, and very organic and in the process, we shared in the creation of my perfect ring. Well, really it is Jim with the creation but he captured the vision I didn't even know I had. The wax prototype he sent was a great way to see in real life the way the ring was coming together and the final piece was beyond what I had even imagined. It was a pleasure to work with Jim and he made the communication of ideas very easy even over distance. I would recommend his work to anyone looking for a high quality, uniquely inspired, and beautiful ring.

We are always happy with Jim's work. He has made all of our wedding rings. We just like to change them up frequently and feel very lucky to have found Jim. His skills and dedication to creating what we like is why we keep coming back to him. Again I find me self thank you good sir. LBZ

I was looking to create a custom engagement ring for my girlfriend (now fiancée!) and found Jim by stumbling on an image of one of his designs and fell in love with his work. I enjoyed the idea of collaborating together on a concept and creating something that would uniquely fit her personality and lifestyle. From our first email exchange Jim was professional, thoughtful, and most especially creative in helping me develop the ring. In the early phases we exchanged drawings and inspirational images until we felt we had reached a good design. Jim then made a wax prototype which we used to iterate two more times until I was 100% satisfied with the design. The day Jim finished the ring he shipped it quickly to me across the U.S. It arrived the next day, and I asked her to marry me that night. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Jim helped put into reality an idea I had for a set of matching wedding bands in 2001-02, my ring a little bigger than my wife's matching band. It was a wonderful experience overall and I have always been satisfied with the finished product. Jim does great work and is great to work with in designing your lifetime heirloom!
