***Brenda in Review Section should not be camping if she needs Wi-Fi and her friend shouldn't have to have 16 minute showers*** This camping spot is awesome, close to the highway so the noise is kinda annoying, but other than that the staff is friendly, the showers ARE clean and well-maintained, and the view is awesome as well. The point of paying for showers is to conserve water (if you read the sign on the door you would know that, unless you're so uneducated you can't read ) Traveling from California to Virginia, we are very thankful to even have a spot that has showers. Anyway, the prices are reasonable, they allow you to fish and swim, and allow walk-up campers. Highly recommended!

No wifi. Showers not all that clean or nice and cost money. Staff not very eager to help. Cell reception very poor. Some swimming in small pond. Access from freeway only. Showers not all that clean or nice and cost money, I think it was a dollar for 4 minutes. Friend of mine says it took her about 4 dollars to get clean, the first dollar was spent warming the water. I think it is expensive for what you get. Be aware there is some confusion on the park's names, according to google there is another address on the west side of Grand Junction. We were East of Palisade, the only access is via freeway. No restaurants or anything very near by, must go to Palisade. Eagles Nest is a rather run down spot, no restaurant anymore with a nice man at the register.

We loved this park, it's absolutely beautiful. Easy pull-through RV spots, and friendly staff. Don't forget the extra $7.50 parking pass on top of your reservation fee; and $2 showers.... better have quarters on hand!

Worst camp site ever very unfriendly staff, if you are wanting to go wine tasting in Palisade they will not let an uber come into the park and drop you off without charging you a fee, they would rather someone drive after they have been tasting wine 😵 really I guess they are desperate for funds! Will stay some where else next time!
