I stayed here just a couple weeks ago, had a great time. Seen plenty of wildlife, great hiking trail. Be sure to bring your own water cause there is none while your out on the trails. Clean facilities, just all around a great place

This is the beauty of old Florida preserved in its natural state. Cabins are available for overnight stays. There are extensive biking and hiking trails. Daytime picnic areas dot the park as well. I highly recommend this for the casual daytripper as well as the more adventurous outdoors type.

How to Get to the Main Trail: Each parking lot has its own little short trail through woodsy areas, the nicest one at parking lot 10. However, I've been meaning to find the actual hiking trail, and you actually have to park at the horse corral. There is a beautiful large clearing/lake surrounded by pine trees near the horse corral.

This hidden gem has hiking, biking, and more. It's dog friendly. We had a small cookout on one of the grills they provide at the shelter, then took a stroll around the park! I am obsessed with turtles, and they have some big ones! Bathrooms were some of the cleanest park restrooms I have been in!

Great place to run the dog. I love coming out here at night. The woods are alive and there are many opportunities to view all kinds of wildlife.
