I received a gift card to have a makeup session and buy some product. I called the store in Riverdale and was put in hold for about 15 min with no follow up and then to be told that I had to wait till the first of the next week to make an appointment? That does not seem right. So I called the on in layton and was on hold again for about 10 min.. this girl did follow up while I was on hold... and then explained how it all worked and was nice. I'm not going to get a makeup session here.

Penny's is a great store. Lots of really nice new products. I love the quality of clothes at Penny's.  Checkout is set up was convenient and fast.Never stand in long lines there.

One star -barely.  Customer service is non-existent and their check out method is very frustrating.  I won't go back.

Went in to the salon to get a Balyage. I showed the stylist a pic of what I wanted, I asked her if she was confident in being able to do it and she said yes and was excited about it. After she processed my hair and rinsed it out she said I’m not happy with this at all! I wanted a rose gold color and all she managed to do was color it brown, it was the same color my hair was when we first started! So she put more coloring in and after she was done the top half of my hair was brown and the lower half was a pinkish color. It wasn’t blended in nicely it was just like a line in the middle of my hair where one half was the brown and the other half was the pinkish color! It wasn’t what I wanted at all, not even close! So a few days later I called and talked to a stylist that was there the day I had it done and asked what we could do to fix it and she said I knew by the look on your face that you weren’t happy at all and they offered to have a different stylist try and fix it but I decided to not have them do anything to it cuz I have absolutely no confidence in them ever touching my hair again and I didn’t want anymore processing of any kind cuz I didn’t want to risk damaging my hair. So all I did was pay almost $90 for them to destroy my hair! They didn’t even offer a refund! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!! Save your time, money, and hair and go somewhere else! I’m sure a beauty school would of done a better job then JCPENNEY salon did and it would cost A LOT less money!!
