It's a good JC Penny's store, unlike the one at Southdale which is terrible. The store seems well stocked and has enough employees. (Although some of the employees are older and follow you around to make sure you aren't stealing).

The portrait studio is great. They worked with me until I got the shot I wanted for a business photo and they were incredibly friendly and patient.

I love shopping at JCPenny.  I lost a bag today and the cashier Janna was so kind and helped me locate it, and another person brought it to me from downstairs.   I didn't have to do anything but wait and be thankful. Thank you Janna for making my shopping even better.

We've always liked Penney's merchandise BUT the service throughout the entire store makes it unpleasant to shop here! That's why your chain is failing, MANAGEMENT!!

We grew up going to JCPennys and it was very sad to see the Southdale location close. The service was phenomenal there. This location not so much. As you may have experience no matter which location you go to, there is always a wait at a lone at JCPennys or even Herbergers. Both have similar models where the cashiers stations are set up thorough out the store, which is a terrible model because the wait at one may be extremely long compared to another and they don't call for back up. Where at Kohls there will have a couple cashiers at an area and lines don't get long. So I was just at JCPennys and wanted to buy some electric candles that were on a shelf with clearance but I didn't know if they were part. I walked around and I could. It find a single price check machine and all the station lines were 5 to 10 people waiting. I asked a worker there if there was a price check machine since both Kohls and herbergers have them. She said no that I would have to go to the cashier and she pointed to the one which had 10 people in line. I asked her so i have to wait in that long line to get a price check. She said yup and walked away. I will never go back to JCPennys. Terrible customer service. Long lines and behind in technology. The gal was in her early twenties, long brown hair, pimples and has no customer service skills.
