The meat on the sandwich’s was a five, with a nice pile of meat on all of the subs we ordered, and the service was fast an friendly. That said, the topping options were just ok and the bread seemed a bit “firm”. Maybe it was a bit old I doubt it or maybe that is just how it is, but I prefer it to be a bit softer. VictorB
Always good service. Think it's owned by the or a local police officer/department. Which is great, you wanna support your local servicemen and women. Typical Jimmy John's so thankfully can't find a problem with the food. Have been a few times when in the neighborhood and have no problem stopping by.Food: 5/5
Ordered through Doordash thinking that it would be reliable but Jimmy John's uses their own drivers, and if they don't have any drivers they don't turn off the ordering platform. I ordered, the order was confirmed, and no food showed up. The phone was never answered when i called to find out what was going on. Drove to the location and they were closed. It was at least 2 hours before the listed closing time.
Tonight was my first time I ever visited Jimmy John's, and this particular location. And thus will be my last time ever!! I was so hungry and was deciding what to eat. I was passing by this place on Dundee Rd in Palatine IL and decide to stop by and try it. I better not done it!!! The cashier girl was unfriendly at all-I was the only one customer inside and they did look busy at all. I ordered a Beef ranch wrap and asked if beef will be warm-she replied that it will be cold. And I realized that I do not want a cold beef and asked if possible to change to a chicken wrap-the same price. She became very rude and started to drop everything showing me get attitude because I asked to change an order which they did not even started to cook yet! Also, she charged me twice and said that I will see a refund back to my credit card for the first sandwich! I will keep an eye of course on my refund. Overall, terrible place to stop and have a quick bite! Will never stop at this place as well in other Jimmy John's!!!
Terrible customer service. The girl was sitting on her phone- doesn't acknowledge me and so I ask for my order and she comes and just pushes it across the counter. No words. Then goes back to her chair. I know she can speak because she joked and laughed with her coworker when I was leaving. It doesn't take much effort to thank your customer.
Inconsistent, poorly run - Look at all the recent reviews for this store and you are bound to have a similar experience. I have had wrong orders, 40+ minute waits and had to call to get an update, and a new one: sold out of their bread. Yesterday we completed a order via app about 30 minutes before close. We then received a call explaining that they ran out of bread and "all the other stores closed already...so yeah". I've never been to a fast casual restaurant that stops making food 30 minutes before close. I find it hard to imagine that was the actual situation. Don't order from this store, service is sub par, go to Jersey Mike's across the street or a different JJs.
Every single time I order from this location, something is wrong with my sandwich. Also, 9/10 that I ask for it to be cut in half, they don’t. I’m not sure what is SO difficult about using a knife and taking .1 seconds to cut a sandwich in half is for these people. I’ve called in the past and asked to speak to a manager and he was rude and unapologetic. I’m going to corporate about this location, hopefully they are actually helpful unlike the store manager and crew of this store. So irritating. Also, clearly some sort of change in management or crew members needs to be reevaluated- just look at all of the one star reviews from the past 2 years to now. Pathetic.
Three orders in a row now, I’ve waited around 45 minutes for my food with no order updates before cancelling for something else. Three orders in a row where a sandwich took over 45 minutes to make. Do yourself a favor and just go across the street to Jersey Mike’s— or at the least, any other Jimmy John’s location.
THE WORST - we ordered this afternoon 30 mins before we went on lunch 11:30 am, our sandwiches didn’t arrive until 12:45 PM. We brought this up to the store and the guys stated, “He was the only one at the store and there wasn’t anything he could do since we received it.” This wasn’t anywhere near freaky fast service. Choose a different store, you’ll only get soggy sandwiches and poor service.
Great store and customer service. They are an average Jimmy Johns store with seating for about 15 people. The service is very fast and they always say hello and goodbye. Over the years I have been eating at Jersey Mikes since they have fresher meats but this chain is great.
