Dr. May and the office staff were very kind and patient with me during my visit today. I was looking for a new optometrist in the area as I did not like our former optometrist and came across Johnson Optometric Associates yesterday while doing a Google/Facebook review search. They were able to schedule a next-day appointment (can you say quick?!), I waited less than 10 minutes to be seen, and I was out of there by 10:40 without feeling rushed or just like another number in a production line waiting to be seen. Dr. May was very polite, provided a detailed review of my eye health (including an explanation of the photographs of the back of my eyes), and even thanked me for my business. I cannot tell you the last time I had a doctor of any sort thank me for choosing their practice! Will be coming here for my annual eye exam from now on!

Dr. Hammond is tops and he is very thorough.  He is very caring and very professional.  The whole staff is friendly. Never ever had a bad experience.

This is my second time coming to this center. Once again, they were a great help. They took the time to help me find my insurance, which allowed me to save up to $90 for my exam.  They also helped me get trail pair to last me until my new contacts come in next week, Which was also free because of my insurance. Another optometrist was about to make me wait a week for an appointment and didn’t try to work with me in regards to me needing a pair  of contacts to hold me through until my order came in.  The doctor was really friendly and asked probing questions to help  relate to me. This was an awesome experience and I don’t mind the 45 minute drive. Highly recommended.

My husband and I visited JO for the first time this week and had eye exams. Customer service was great, the assistant was great and courteous, the  Dr. was awesome, she explained EVERYTHING as she administered tests, which I loved. There was no room for questions. Everyone I came into contact with was nice & kind. The overall experience was far better than any previous experiences elsewhere.

I had my first appointment with JOA today and was highly impressed by the professionalism of their very personable staff.  Dr. Hammond was excellent!

Definitely recommend!
