If you have a chronic illness please never go here! I switched thinking I would get better care here and with kaiser doctors as a frequent hospital goer due to vomiting resulting in dehydration from gastroparesis instead I'm treated like I'm not a person! Like I'm making up a disease I'm on disability for and have been since i was 18 (I'm now 24) . Rudest doctors and nurses i had ever experienced in my life. I often left in tears because they would not give me FLUIDS I had only asked for FLUIDS because I could not hold down water.

When I was a new Kaiser member, 10 years ago, I was having difficulty walking. There was a fellow in a golf-type cart who patrolled the vast parking lot and picked patients up at their cars and took them to the main doors. He was a lifesaver. Then there was valet parking. That was even better, and I enjoyed it for several years, still not being able to walk very well. Now there is nothing. Rather than eliminate this service, I would have been pleased to pay a fee for it. Now I'm stuck with all the many patients with handicapped tags, trolling for a space anywhere near the building and eventually parking in the far reaches of the lot. It's a long, long walk to the main doors. When I get to my doctor the first thing she does is take my blood pressure...surprise, it's high. The worst thing, though, is having to repeat the long walk back to my car. Last week when I was at Kaiser Morse, I saw several elderly and disabled people painfully trying to walk through the parking lot. What should we do? Ask a friend or relative to take some time off work to drop us at the door and wait? I'd like to hear what the plan is to improve this.

Staff at hospital, fantastic. Sac County sherif watching parking lot, complete joke. Little man driving the pd unit acted as if he were an overly important individual. No care or concern that people are at the ER because of personal or family tragedies. 5 foot nothing sherif acted beyond unreasonable and like an a class jerk. Hope he gets help, or thicker shoes so he can act like a grown up. Good luck mighty mouse. Soup cans on the gas pedal may help your rounds go faster.
