Story

Overlooking the Texas Hill Country, La Cantera Resort & Spa is situated on a 550 acre tranquil oasis just minutes from San Antonio’s finest shopping, dining, and entertainment. Emerging from a multi-million dollar transformation, the 498-room resort features five sparkling pools, two championship golf courses, a rejuvenating spa and nine incredible dining options.

The Resort offers more than 115,000 square feet of event space including two ballrooms and 28 meeting rooms.

Less than one mile from the Shops at La Cantera and Six Flags Fiesta Texas with complimentary shuttle service from the Resort. Experience elevated service and relaxation at this Texas Hill Country retreat.

Awesome resort for a get away weekend in San Antonio. If you have a decent budget, it's a must have place to stay in. They have beautiful pools, separate adult and children's pool. Even the hot tubs are separate. The best thing is they have 4 heated pool. They provide really nice bath robe that can be used by the pool. They have 9 restaurants on the property. Really nice spa place. Make sure you book the spa one week before as it is really busy. Overall it's a nice get away weekend for couple. They have an adult floor too.

I stayed for only one night but was very impressed with the quality of the resort itself. No facade here! Everything looked and worked perfectly in our room. Double sinks and spacious bath. Good water pressure in shower. Nothing peeling or cracking like you see most everywhere these days. The bed is very comfortable and firm. Over all this place is the real deal. You get what you pay for and can’t go wrong here. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay and some pool/ spa time soon.

The resort is beautiful the scenery from the hotel is Grand. It has a beautiful golf course spa and the restaurants are awesome. The hotel has a shuttle bus that will take you to the shops at La Cantera So you can shop walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery at this Location. You also have a selection of great restaurants to enjoy good breakfast lunch or dinner. For the kid's you also have the benefit of 6 flags so they too can enjoy this great outing.

Great location to get away or have an event. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location in the hills. We enjoyed the variety of activities available, especially the different pools. The breakfasts were very tasty with a large buffet.

La Cantera Resort is one of the most enjoyable places you will ever visit. The staff went out of their way to take care of us, and there are so many fun things to do there! We stayed in the Villas, which is a more secluded area of the resort and took advantage of heated pools, the n. gas fire pit, and hot tubs! The only issue we had was that we seemed to be the only people who knew what package we booked and it took awhile to resolve this, however the staff was helpful with this as well.
