Total theifs. Cost me $1000 to have a transmission installed and they broke it upon installation and wouldn’t take responsibility and I was screwed. Stay far away from these Incompetent idiots. Oh and the professional mechanic working on that motor in the google pic for this place..ya that’s the dummy that broke my trans. Doesnt know how to install a Torque converter which is easy. Clowns

I've been coming here for over 8 years and have always been satisfied with service.   Very friendly and knowledge owners and staff.   Will continue to give them my business for years to come!   I like that they offer BG products also.

Went to La Car Porte to have them check out a used work truck I was planning on purchasing. They gave it a good 'look see' from bumper to bumper. By the time they were finished (which was timely for what I asked them to do), the truck was given a clean bill of health with a couple of notes on what needed to be done, but they were only minor. Very professional, friendly, and when I left they had a new customer. I would highly recommend them. Ask for Michael.

The owner is so nice. His prices are fair. He put a break light in and didn't charge me. I highly recommend this repair  shop.
