My girlfriend and I visited this gym and we were somewhat satisfied with our experience. The gym itself has plenty of equipment and the gym as a whole was very clean. The weighted plates they use are what's called hex plates where they are not round but hexagon in shape and that makes it very difficult to do any compound lifts that involves the weight touching the floor which can make things very annoying if that's something you want to do. There are quite a few people and there's definitely an alpha male feeling in the atmosphere as a lot of guys are trying to one-up everybody. All in all it's a decent enough gym

Love the gym, hate the employees. Tried to degrade my member ship from bringing guests to just bringing my self and a employee told me he couldn't. But he said he could cancel my membership and the I'd be able to. Not to mention I'd have to pay the 150$ just to get a new membership. Long story short the Operation Manager helped me, its irritating how they try to scam you because they get paid off of commission.

Best gym ever in Sarasota. Seems like they have about 100 machines, one or more for every single muscle in your body, plus free weights and a personal training area. Group sessions for yoga etc., and always plenty cool A/C, nice upbeat music, TV on most of the treadmill, bicycle and stair stepper type machines, and a big pool with hot tub and steam room. And a smoothie bar.
But only 4 stars because I hated the high pressure moves they put on me at first, getting me to sign a personal training contract using a misleading sales pitch. When I got home and read it, I was furious and cancelled it immediately. Also, they do not have a blood pressure cuff and do not provide towels so you have to bring your own. Maybe 4 stars is a little generous...

Great facilities very clean( unlike the YMCA which is filthy), great staff, new updated equipment( unlike the Y with old crummy equipment) clean pool( the Y pool is over chlorinated and always cloudy never clear) and great prices, actually half the price of the Y and tons better everything.
