It's a pretty spot to picnic or camp, but note that the visitor center and the nature center are closed on Sundays. If you're collecting the passport stickers for the Oklahoma State Park kids' program, or wanting a list of the GPS coordinates for the geocaching trading cards, you'll have to visit on a Monday through Saturday.

Pretty awesome campground. Wednesday night in December there was no one there, so we camped right next to the lake. Most sites are near the water through. Campground host was nice. The view was great. Only $14 for a tent site!

Very nice park. Went rv camping here. Very large campsite and fairly level. Will camp here again.

After seeing this park had a campground. We traveled out of our way to find out it is full. When I asked why they didn't post a campground is full sign at the highway exit tge host said....that isn't something we do here. It sure would be nice if it was something you did do.
