Rather than descending on my wife and I like a vulture, Estevan gave us enough time to look around a bit for ourselves. Once it was clear that we were seriously considering one of two or three vehicles, he approached us. He was very polite and respectful, and eager to help us without being pushy. He made it clear that he was there to help us make an informed decision but that the decision was completely up to us. Once Clay Schroff got involved, things went from really good to really great. We told him what we wanted and what we could afford and he used his years of experience to make it happen. There was no fast talk, no pressure, and none of the ambiguous secret language we have encountered before. We received a very fair price for our trade-in and drove away with the knowledge that we had done well. Chris Peterson completed our final signing in time for us to pick our son up from school too. From start to finish, the entire deal was plumb, square and level. And it all started with Estevan. Give that man a raise!

I went through Costco's Auto Program, which is $300 over invoice. This made the process easier. I bought a new 2018 4Runner TRD Off Road (Premium) and the ride is smooth and it looks beautiful. I also used Costco's coupon for 50% off up to $200 of parts/service, which I used to buy running boards and an exhaust tip post purchase. The parts specialist, Lorenzo, was so very helpful and considerate. The sales associate, Adam, was also very considerate and provided a good ending to what could have ended negatively. Many thanks to Adam and Lorenzo.

I get my regular oil changes here and the last one I received DJ Apodaca helped me and he was fantastic. I had my dog with me and he got down on her level to give her attention while I filled out the paperwork. I wanted to fill out the survey yet I didn’t notice one letter was incorrect on my email they have so I never received it. Hope he gets the praise he deserves. Fast and friendly service.

I was able to test drive a Camry and the new C-HR (which I totally fell in love with). I was over-the-moon with the C-HR and could picture myself driving off the lot with it. Before we looked at any vehicles I mentioned to the salesperson that I wanted to trade my 2017 Nissan Rogue in for a Toyota -prior to getting this vehicle I had a Toyota for over 10 years! I was always a very avid fan girl over Toyota but the new C-HR wasn't going to be out when I needed to get a vehicle, so I went ahead and bought my Rogue. After months of driving the vehicle, I was kicking myself for not sticking with Toyota when I know how reliable they are. Thus began my quest to see how I could possibly get myself into a Toyota after having bought a Rogue over 6 months ago. I was passed off to a salesperson named Hiram who thought he could help me. I told him my situation and he made it seem like it wouldn't be a problem at all. He pushed a Camry on me and let me test drive it. While it was a beautiful car, it wasn't really what I was asking for. Finally, I was able to test drive a C-HR. I told him that was the car I wanted so he did his paperwork and we ran my credit (which isn't bad at all). He came back with paperwork saying the car was over $23,000 when the sticker on the car said $20,000. He tried to get me to put $3000 down despite mentioning from the get go that I didn't have much to put down. Then I asked him if he could call a specific credit union to see if they'd give me a loan for the vehicle. And if they didn't want to fund the loan, I wouldn't proceed with the vehicle. He said he would call me first thing on Monday to let me know but I didn't receive anything. I called as soon as I got off of work and was told by the first salesperson that it wasn't going to work out, that they "tried a bunch of banks and credit unions but they all denied me". This of course put me in panic mode because I only specifically asked for ONE credit union to house my loan. It was unprofessional of him to not keep me in the loop of what was going on or call me when he said he would. Now I have no idea what he did with my information and what credit unions or banks he tried to finance the vehicle with. The whole process felt very disorganized. He was not very transparent with me and felt like your average run-of-the-mill salesman that tells what you want to hear until you're in the seat trying to make it happen. The whole experience made me feel like my business didn't really matter and I had a feeling as I walked out the door that evening that he was not taking me seriously. It's such a bummer because I loved that C-HR. You can bet that I will not be doing business with Hiram (Alameda location) ever again. I will be posting on social media to warn my friends against seeing this salesman or even going to this location (just in case they end up being helped by him). This is my first time ever leaving a negative review on a business. I make it a point to leave only positive and helpful reviews. I understand that one bad experience shouldn't be a testament to a business as a whole; however, when a business is in charge of running your credit and assisting you with making a decision about a big investment, it is important to let other consumers know what they may be in store for. I also want to be clear that I am not leaving this review out of spite for not getting the vehicle, I am leaving this review to express how degraded I feel after going to this dealership for assistance. I am leaving this review because I was not taken care of or treated like a respected customer. I was treated much better by Perfection Honda. They were willing to give me a reasonable amount for my Rogue, they accepted the down payment that I had, and they offered me a rebate to go towards my down payment. I didn't end up choosing them because I wanted to go to Toyota before making any decisions. I am not as in love with the Civic hatchback as I was with the Toyota C-HR but at least I am a respected customer that is taken seriously there.

This is a good dealership as far as they go. I have never had any problems bringing my cars here and the staff are always friendly, courteous and willing to help any way they can. The only reason for the 4 stars is that they do take a long to time to service a vehicle. So if you are in a rush call an uber or a friend because your car will be here for a while. Aside from that the service is always great and my car drives away happily purring.
