Great place for lunch. Nothing on the menu is bad. The new format with table service is a plus. It took a short while for things to get up to speed but service is great now! The menu is basically still the same as it was but with one fantastic edition: chipped beef gravy. 
Nobody can top their corned beef hash.

This place is as good as it gets. Most restaurants around the area are so bland and boring and that goes for the food and atmosphere. However Mikes is absolutely killer. If you are on the fence about eating here for some unknown reason just bite the bullet and go. Mikes will become your favorite restaurant around because of their consistency with great food and character within the building and their employees.

Two of us had breakfast while two of us lunched!  Everything was warm that should be warm and arrived in a timely fashion. Desert ran from a cup of ice cream to a brownie to a cake cone and all of us were delighted with the flavor and the additions that we were offered. Bring your family and your vegan friends and look forward to a terrific meal

A totally classic family diner! You will find all of the Falls Church locals eating here for breakfast lunch and dinner. They recently changed locations, and the new one, albeit cleaner and shinier, started table service, which is slightly annoying when you just want to swing in for a quick bite. The food, however, is phenomenal, and reasonably priced. Some favorites include the Dixie Chicken, Cali Chicken, Gainesville Green, and Reuben sandwiches, the banana pancakes, the fries, and the thin mint ice cream, especially in shake form. If you're looking for good local eating, and getting a view into authentic Falls Church, look no further.

We sat down and ate. I got the sausage egg and cheese begal for 5 bucks. The ingredients seemed very fresh. I love all day breakfast. My milkshake was pretty good too. I want to try more flavors. I'll definitely be back again.
