The rooms were quiet and spacious and the staff was kind. However, they seemed absent. Every time we pulled up, we had to get out and find a valet. Service to the room took longer than expected. Overall, great property but not great service.

Overall a great experience. The building exudes history and charm. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The bar and bartenders were TOP NOTCH, however, my only suggestion is to stay open past 11pm. Seemed a little too early to close, especially on a weekend. Would stay there again!

Very nice hotel. Clean and quiet room. Very nice staff. The food at Spoke and Steele was consistently good. The potatoe and leek soup and caesar salad was terrific, as was the coffee. Wish they offered vegan meal options.... another criticism is the music playing throughout the hotel - a bit loud and annoying for sensitive ears.

Great hotel. Very much enjoyed my stay. Room is small, but typical for a hotel of this age. They have spent a great deal of effort to renovate the building and still keep the old feel.

Beautifully redone, this Hotel is a contemporary remake of the classic Canterbury Hotel. Completely different, yet inviting and comfortable. Great rooms, food and drink. Spoke and Steele is on ground floor serving excellent menu and house prepared meats on charcuterie plates. Great mix of land and sea on menu. Fantastic staff.
