About

Just 40 miles north of Yellowstone National Park's less crowded and more beautiful North entrance. Right on the Yellowstone River!
Open May 1-October 15

Story

Towering cottonwoods shade this mountain country KOA along the Yellowstone River. You are never much more than a long cast from KOA's 500 feet of frontage on the Yellowstone, a blue-ribbon trout stream. If you lose your favorite fly, replace it at the campground store! Livingston boasts a fly-fishing museum, art galleries and antique shops. Find outdoor activities in every direction. Don't miss a visit to Yellowstone National Park, 40 miles south. Your hosts can arrange raft trips on the Yellowstone and horseback rides, and they'll direct you toward great hikes in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Area.

Everything I hope to get out of a KOA when I go to one. Staff was awesome. Really good breakfast. Tent site wasn't too close to anyone and had plenty of space. Wood was reasonably priced for the bundle size. Clean showers. Right on the river, with a great mountain view on the other side. I've stayed there twice now, and it will be my campground of choice for any time I visit the area, including Yellowstone.

We stayed at this KOA night #8 of a 10 day trip through Yellowstone. This KOA is just outside Livingston, MO about 45 minutes from Yellowstone's North Entrance - perfect place just off the highway to get a camping spot, a jump in their indoor pool, a good nights rest and be on your way in the morning. It's a medium size campground and all sites are within 2 minute walk to the bathrooms/showers. I would suggest staying here for a night to anyone - the customer service wasn't bad! I wouldn't suggest for more than a 1 night stay due to the limited number of options in the area. Overall, the 1 night stay was a 9.5/10.

Reservation under M Massey. Called to say we would arrive late. We got in about 7:20pm office closed but had our reservation in the box. Someone else was given our site so we went to next site over. We ended up with a 30 amp spot instead of 50 amp. The park smells like a sewage plant. This rating is probably one star over what it should be.

! Bad atmosphere! Crowded! So crowded you can't get comfortable. Children running around without their parents supervision; acting wild, screaming bloody murder, creating Havoc. People fighting over washers and dryers in the laundry. We were at this KOA camp multiple years ago and it was much nicer then. The refurbishments they've done and the updates have done nothing but take away from it. Just a very uncomfortable place. The only reason they got two stars is because of the people who serve breakfast in the morning.
