Tito's has good food. My husband and I went there a couple of nights ago to try them for the first time. Earlier that day we stopped in at 6 am to get a breakfast burrito and a Pollo Asado burrito. We were told the grill was shut down for cleaning after my credit card was ran. I was pretty upset, but with extreme ease they refunded my money. So giving them a second chance, we came back at dinner time and got the Pollo Aaado combo plate. The food looked great and tasted great. For the price, I felt the portion size could have been a little larger. But they have some amazing "street art" on the outside if their building.
Food was okay. I ordered a fish taco but I never expected a breaded fish. I wish the staff was more suggestive giving me choices but I guess she wasn't that friendly enough to give more services. First time here and maybe if there is a next time I'll give them another chance to review.
First time here and my god the chicken chipotle burrito especial was heaven sent. It had no business being this good for a place that's open 24hrs a day. In fact it was so good I convinced myself to buy 3 more street tacos.
Three weeks ago I wrote a 5 star review for this establishment. It truly was an exceptional experience. But the last two days I made the 30 min drive to support this local business only to find the grill shut down and only fried food available. Yesterday I was here at 0530, today 0630. I asked the staff when they would have breakfast menu available. “It depends.” I asked what time they clean the grill so I know when not to come here. “It depends.” I asked is there a way for me to know if you plan on serving food. “No? You’re just going to have to come and see.” I still say they have 5 star food, but their lack of reliability forces me to reduce my rating. Best breakfast in San Diego. I’ve lived all around the southern border. Los Tito’s is the best authentic Mexican food I’ve had. Don’t let the gas station location fool you- that’s probably the secret to their success.
Horrible taco shop. Girl at the cashier had no personality, very dry and no customer service. My California burrito was terrible I added guacamole, sour cream and cheese. Did not get my order right. I only got guac and cheese the burrito in all was so greasy it grossed me out that I didn’t even want to eat it. Never going back.
BEST MEXICAN FOOD SHOP IVE HAD BY FAR!!! Absolutely delicious and the staff are very friendly theres also lots of things to choose from. I definitely recommend their carne asada burritos, breakfast burrito with bacon and ham, and their rolled tacos:
Good hole in the wall taco shop with decor that embodies the soul of San Diego. Food needs just a bit of help though, that shrimp quesadilla was definitely more of a burrito. Needed cabbage/ not shredded leaf lettuce gets soggy under the heat. Gotta get that trash bin properly sorted out too cause it makes it awkward for customers to stack trays away from baskets while cramming excess trash/food through that little trash hole. Staff seemed exhausted at 2pm. Not sure what the cause of that is. Other than that, good place to get some standard mexican food with some friends.
This place is garbage. Violent homeless everywhere, more trash than can fit in a full size pickup truck in the parking lot and they're not really 24 hours. They have a sign that says "not taking orders" on the door and refuse any walk in service. Would have loved to try the food if It was actually available, but the staff was extremely rude about their almost not noticable, poorly written, previously-soaked wet cardboard, nearly barely-visible sign.
Friendly service. Open 24 hours. Decent size burritos and bomb salsa bar.
Loved the rolled tacos. May have been the munchies i had going on but decent price & enjoyed them. Parking: Plenty in front of the stores Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
