Ordered my daughter the chicken rolled tacos.... and it came with a black hair! None of the staff wear hair nets, and it's gross. We don't have any black hair in my house; so no I did not put it there. Also ordered a side of rice which was more than half hard rice and cold. Only went here out of convenience, anyway. Plus their prices are higher than all the other taco shops in the area. Its a hard NO for me next time.
so far I've only got there two beef tacos because I was at evens tire shop next door, the taco seemed a little bit small but they were perfect! super juicy. they are probably slightly overpriced but the meat was so good I didn't really care at about $4.75 each it seems like they should have been jumbo tacos, so next time I may get one of those just to scratch my itch for crunchy shell beef tacos but I may spend my money on more like a burrito, I would not want to spend close to $15 just for a few tacos, but like I said the taste was perfect so if I'm going to spend my money it might as well be good and this place was very good, there's also beer on top so come in here at night and sitting maybe out in the gazebo would be a cool start to a date night or maybe after a movie or something, grossmont Mall is right up the street and there's a Starbucks next door.
Just drove thru for some late night eats, and the girl at the drive thru was awesome, super friendly, and really helpful! When we got home the food was exactly what we were craving! The carne asada tostada was delicious, full of carne asada, and it was huge! The chicken quesadilla is big enough for 2 people, and so yummy! Thank you!
$13.75 For a Beans-rice-cheese burrito with chicken. Thats a big price tag for a burrito to begin with so with such a big price you would expect even bigger taste. Unfortunately that is not the case, this burrito Wasn't even mediocre. A 50 cent microwave burrito from walmart up the street has more taste and flavor in it. To make matters worse my burrito was cold and had cheese straight from the bag just thrown on and served, it wasn't even melted. My wifes burrito was also cold and had unmelted cheese aswell. We will not be returning to Vallarta and won't be recommending their food to anyone else either. Only thing they have going for them is their fancy soda machine. you're better off going to Costco and spening $10 to feed a family of 4 instead of buying a $13 cold burrito.
I purchased the Buffalo Burrito and have to say it was really good. It was flavorful, and seasoned just right. The chicken had the perfect amount of buffalo sauce and the chicken was nice and tender. Definitely plan on purchasing from this establishment again.
One of my fave places for Mexican food! Love the veggie burrito when I want to have something healthy or even the chicken pepita salad. The surf & turf and fajitas burrito are pretty awesome too. But my favorite on the menu especially late at night is the chips & guacamole.Food: 5/5
I can't speak to dining-in here, but the drive-thru was excellent in terms of wait time for what was ordered. Restaurant food proportions have steadily declined in recent years, so it's pleasant to find Vallarta an exception in this regard. Their salsas are solid.Food: 4/5
Not the friendliest or welcoming staff. Customer service isn't their strong point. The food is very good. Don't have high expectations on customer service. Bring your wallet food is pricey. Basic bean and cheese burrito is almost $10. Parking: Very small lot. Have to battle with drive-thru. My recommendation is to back into the parking spot. This way, if it is super busy, it's easier for you to get out of your spot.
Dropped off. Got directions for a good eating place for breakfast a short walk away. Everyone at the dealership was nice and professional. Seems like you all should move on from the pandemic situation and get the express oil change back where it used to be thoughService: 5/5
Taco shop its one of the better choices around. Kicker. If you can find a large Sculpin for cheaper - bar, restaurant, wherever - I'd be surprised. That said, there's prob other places you'd want to sit & have a beer...but under the outdoor patio and watching the cars pass by...all in all, not too shabby for a taco shop
