I went to Giordano's the day before and it does NOT compare to this place. I've only went to two places in Chicago for deep dish and this place gave me a very good impression of deep dish pizza. The sauce is flavorful, the cheese is melty goodness and their butter crust is absolutely delicious. The inside of the restaurant was very clean, well ventilated, and spacious. The waitress was a delight; she was attentive, prompt and followed up on us every once in a while. I highly recommend this please for deep dish pizza.

Possibly the best authentic deep dish I've had in Chicago. The wait was definitely worth it, from the time we put our names on the list to waiting for the pizza to bake even. In regards to the wait, they use a system that can text you when your table is ready. But beware: not being around when it is ready will forfeit your spot after about five minutes or so. Our table was ready 20 minutes earlier than estimated. On a busy day, you can feel the energy and the popularity of Lou's. Server was nice and we ordered a salad, which was very fresh and actually a great appetizer to have before the behemoth. The deep dish pie was heavy, but each bite was even better than the last. Definitely enjoyed our visit!

Long wait however that's kind of expected with a larger group. Pizza was delicious as always. Calamari was good. Took some people here to experience deep dish pizza for the first time. Great place to have them try. Thin crust was also great

I came here about a month ago, and my review is delayed because I had the chance to go to Giordano's last weekend and it is nowhere near as good as Lou Malnati's. I've been to just about every "famous" Chicago pizzeria and Lou Malnati's takes the cake. Their crust is just the right amount of buttery and flaky without being too starchy or heavy. and the cheese to tomato ratio was just right. I'll be coming back whenever I have the chance!

This place was very packed, 1.5 hour wait for a table, so I was expecting the best pizza I've ever had. The building is very tight, but a neat place. Service was meh, but you can expect that on a Friday night and it being as busy as it was. I got a personal cheese and my husband got a small pepperoni and spinach. The flavors of the pizza were good, but the crust was so hard! We don't typically do deep dish in Texas, but we get better pizza back home for half the price. All and all it wasn't bad, just wish the crust wasn't so hard.
