The atmosphere in this place is interesting. The wait staff was great and very friendly. The deep dish pizza...eh. It was okay. It didn’t really live up to my expectations and this was my first time experiencing a Chicago deep dish pizza. I will try other places in the area next time in order to better compare Pizano’s to other pizza places.

When I walk and start to smell pizza it's most likely I am going to find it. As I ventured down Walton street and the smell caught me. I turned left down an unknown street because my nose was leading the way.  Just a small pizza place cramped between two larger buildings with a very old classic look.  The greater left something to be desired but I wasn't going to let that stop me from trying a Chicago deep dish.   The smell of pizza fills the air and was, for me, extremely pleasant.  The server was fast and very polite.  A note to anyone that wants the deep-dish even a small takes some time, so sit back and enjoy the quaint atmosphere.  The pizza comes in a pan and smelled amazing and had a taste to match. Don't miss this place on your next trip.

Italian Restaurant - Known for their Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza, this location is both traditional and stylish.  They have a room at the end (used for larger party groups) similar to ones from the days where Mafia Bosses used to eat privately at the back of a restaurant.
The pizza and side dishes did not dissapoint, although the service was a bit slow.  Prices were very reasonable and definitely worth a repeat visit.

Great deep dish!!! Couldn't get into the other 2 big names. Seated immediately.  Affordable and awesome.

Classic American Italian, not really what I would call a thin crust pizza... Tasty but the crust was more short crust pastry than pizza dough. Calamari was very good
