Well Panera is Panera! It is good food and good service. But the reason I cared to write about this place, is that I was particularly impressed by the efficiency as well as grace with which the staff operated. They were fabulous with managing that huge crowd flowing in from the Millennium Park and the Bean right across the street. Lots of young, happy and enthusiastic members in the crew. Only thing: It is great that you also have ceramic cups for coffee; but I had to pick five before I could find one properly cleaned!! PAY Attention!!! But a complain about Panera in general: the prices have gone up slowly, couldn't almost notice. But these days it costs above $10 a person. Is that justified for a sandwich, salad, soup place? However, remain unbeatable for taste and quality within the range. And yes: I LOVE Panera's Coffee!!!!! I think that's the best coffee that you can buy under $2 at a chain restaurant in the US!!!

This one was huge. Ample seating available. Like panera for a good assortment of eating options.. Personally like broccoli and cheddar soup. Pair this one with a salad and satisfaction guaranteed

Dined there today at noon. Everybody was so incredibly friendly. First off there were two managers on and they were helping their fellow employees deliver food to the tables and correct orders. Also the food was hot fresh and tasted delicious. All of the employees seemed actually very happy to be working there which says a lot about a company. And especially about that store in particular and how it's ran.

One of my favorite Panera locations. They can be very crowded during lunch hour. This location offers ordering from your table (with the app), and quick order kiosks. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

You go for coffee. Pay for your cup. Two big empty vats waiting. No light roast. No dark roast. Eventually replenished, but Jeez. On Michigan Ave no less. Other locations around city are much better.
