I went in 2 days ago looking for a dress for a wedding, first one I tried I loved. I needed to reserve it for 2 days since I didn't get paid til Friday. They only reserve it for 1 day...fine whatever..when I worked at a women's clothing store...if the client seemed really determined in something we would hold it for 2 days , so that angered me. The next day I went in to hold it and. Today, Friday, I came to pick it up. Only 2 woman were working their area which might be the usual... I waited behind a group of three as one sales woman walked away from the counter and assisted them. The next woman came, up and the guy who was behind me walked up and passed me and asked if he could buy something, the woman didn't excuse him or anything. I thought that was incredibly rude because I had been waiting and she had helped someone else. Would rather go another store to buy clothes.

CREDIT SCORE DINGED.

Got duped into signing up for their new amex macys card.

A month into it, Macy’s lowered my credit limit without my knowledge. I find out about it on my credit score report when it was lowered by 10 points. I raise my credit limit back up to where it used to be and of course that does NOTHING to my credit score.

Paid off my balance for the month, but apparently they processed it a day late and I incurred a TWO dollar fee. Didn’t know about it because my balance showed zero the whole time on their site. Found out about it again when my credit score went down another 13 points.

Thanks macys. Wonderful service. Thanks for messing up my credit score.

I cancelled the amex macys card today, and they tried to get me to stay by offering up some coupons. How is a coupon going to repair my credit score???? Keep the coupon and keep your cheap clothes. I won’t be shopping here again. 

I would suggest that you don’t pay with their scam macys credit cards for any purchase there. Or better yet, don’t shop there at all!

Decent selection of clothes and store is clean and well-maintained, but it takes FOREVER To check out and half the time I end up bringing clothes home with the ink security packs still attached, which means I have to make a second trip back to get it removed. What a hassle.

Too expensive. Bought 2 pairs of pajamas cost $88. Returned almost immediately.

I needed a 3-piece suit, and I had absolutely no idea what I was looking for, because I had never shopped for a suit before. Fortunately Doug Robertson came to my rescue! He helped me out each step of the way, including taking my measurements, and by the end, I had everything that I needed, and it all fit perfectly too! Thank you very much Doug for all of your help!
