When you're on a way to an office, it's a gift to be able to walk through a park on the way rather than busy streets. Oftentimes, when you do it 100x, you forget how wonderful it really is. You'll encounter a diverse crowd of locals and visitors enjoying the park as they read books, check emails, or eat some fast food on the go. It's been an integral part of a New Yorker's day for the last 150 years and I can see why. Its worth a visit next time you're in the area. Just wish it was a little bit bigger. Madison Square Park is not a big park, but it's nice that it's there and allows some reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the big apple. Besides having the very first Shack Shack in the south east area of the park I really enjoy Madison Square Park.

This park has great views of the Flatiron Building from the southern edge of the park. There’s also a two dog parks! One for little dogs like dachshunds and corgis, and one for big dogs like bull dogs and golden retrievers. Great pupper watching! Also, we were there in April and saw some freshly planted flowers 💐 and some budding trees. It made for a beautiful scene!

Nice park, cool squirrels. Awesome buildings around make it a picturesque place to hang out. The Shake Shack does awesome burgers & beer with plenty of outdoor seating. Small dog park on one side.

A quiet little gem, Mad Square Park is home to the original Shake Shack, and it's very long lines. Very popular for office workers to eat lunch here too. There are numerous tables and chairs, including little tables and chairs, presumably for kids but adults squeeze into them too during the busiest times. The park also regularly has art installations in it's grassy area. Today the exhibit is hundreds of led bulbs hanging a foot off the ground and swaying in the wind. Many picturesque views of the surrounding buildings too, including the Flatiron building. Come check out this cute little park!

Clean nice park in a bustling city atmosphere. Ample seating and open space. We had diner from the Shake Shack. Found a table and enjoyed a beautiful atmosphere. If you are visiting the Big Apple, be sure to stop in and take a load off in this well maintained park.
