If you have been arrested and assigned a public defender, I suggest you fire them and represent yourself. I am in disbelief after witnessing a trial in Maricopa. The amount of corruption is unbelievable. A friend of mine was assigned Blaire Martinez to represent him. The victim didn’t even show up to testify and coincidentally the police were able to arrest her for her outstanding warrant the day the trial ended. Detective Ferrante was assigned to this case, but never interviewed the victim or the defendant. There were no witnesses to the supposed assault. I spoke to the woman who accused my friend of the assault, and she admitted to me that she was just trying to get revenge because he broke up with her, and I told this to the detective and to his “attorney.” I never got to testify. Just remember, the public defenders are not representing the defendants they are representing the public. Do not make the same mistake we did and trust them. After witnessing the corruption not only in the court system, but in the jails as well, I will be moving out of state as soon as possible.
Try NOT TO GET THOMAS CHIANG his HORRIBLE you will never here back from him or his rude unhappy office assistant Janely Acosta. She clearly hates him and her job and I'm sure Chiang feels the same way these two are miserable and provide the worst client service you can think of. They don't care what is going on with you or your life they don't reach out to tell you when you have court they don't care.
The Public Defenders officers treat the defendants like they are on a conveyor belt. They want them in and out without knowing the case and the person they are defending. They are not interested in doing their jobs with concern and respect of the clients and their families. Very sad.
I remember my lawyer was an old grumpy white guy..i dont know if he is still there, but his office was kool lol ..
I have a Freind who was arrested he’s been in jail for 120 days in the public defenders office they haven’t even met with him in person
Aren’t they supposed to help?? They never answer You leave a message and never do you hear back from them..
