I'm not usually one to write reviews, and if I do I try to look at the positive.  However, I do feel the need to share my brief, but less than stellar experience at Maxx Electronics.  I noticed the new sign on the building that used to house the beloved $4 Bookstore a little over a month ago.  My family's 55" LED TV has been broken for a while now, and my husband hasn't had  much time to look into how to repair it.  I decided to take the initiative and check out this new business.  As a local business owner myself, I absolutely love supporting local businesses.  As soon as I walked into Maxx, I felt I needed to leave, but didn't want to be rude.  The first turn off was the smell, like someone had just sparked up.  I know we live in a MJ legal state, but it's not the type of activity that should be happening in a place of business.  The music was playing so loud that I felt maybe I had actually walked into a seedy club...I actually had to ask if they did indeed repair electronics.  As I stated before, my visit was brief.  I grabbed a business card, because I didn't want to walk out without an explanation, but left very quickly and know that I will not be going back.  I usually have my 2 kids with me everywhere I go, and I'm very glad that I didn't bring them into this location.

Received radio, it has 12 wires and no instructions to hook the multi colored wires. Called the company several times and no answer. If they are out of business that is that is the reason, no customer service.
