I came in today for an appointment.  I arrived at 1:45 and was the second person on the list.  An hour went by and I went to see what was taking so long because people kept going in front of us.  The receptionist had forgotten to sign us in!!!!  I understood that appointments would be taken first but we were never even in the system.  Mean while my daughter is crying she feels so bad.  I had to go up to the counter at least 3 times to check the status and to make sure she did not forget us again.  It took us another hour to be seen.  When they did finally take us back it was to stick us in room 4, which they never use, because I kept questioning how much longer it was going to be.  No one cared that my daughter was crying and feeling horrible.  The nurse rudely questioned about why she had not had any fever reducer because at this point her temperature is now 104.  I told them that she was due for another dose and had no idea they would be so slow.  If I had known this was going to take 3 hours I would have brought her motrin.  I also told her it didn't help that the whole building was set on 80 and it was burning up in there.  Turns out she had the flu and I'm sure she got everyone sick in the waiting room.  I will never go back to this practice ever again.  The staff are rude and do not care at all about the patient.  The Dr. did take his time with us and was nice.  He didn't make us feel rushed at all.  I'm following up with our Dr. tomorrow.

Wonderful staff and doctors. My first visit there and the wait was not long. Very thorough and they actually care if you get well. Was very pleased with service.

I was quite disappointed! I originally went to the urgent care off Western because my boss sent me out of work to make sure I didn’t have the flu (I felt absolutely horrible). The receptionist tried starting an argument with me about what my insurance covered and said I had to get authorization to be seen there which I knew wasn’t true but I didn’t want the hassle of the argument and her rudeness so I went to the Southwest office which was on my way home. I got there about 10 til 1 and was told to come back at 2 or go to the urgent care I was just at. I explained all I needed was a flu test but they insisted I come back at two after the Doctors lunch! I returned about 10 til 2 and made sure they knew I was there. They called back 3 people before me despite telling me to come back and knowing how horrible I felt! They didn’t bring me back until 3:15 and I didn’t even get to see the doctor (who was nice) until almost 4. I spent about 5 minutes with the doctor and that was it! There was no reason given the circumstances why they couldn’t have brought me back and ran the flu test around two when I was told to return and have the doctor spend the 5 minutes with me then. Instead of being able to go home and rest I spent hours waiting to be seen, sitting in uncomfortable chairs and around other sick people and probably spreading my illness to other people as well. I had a good experience at this office a few weeks ago but I guess it’s hit or miss.

Doctor and staff are amazing! The wait time may be a bit long sometimes but the staff worked through lunch today because they wanted everyone to be seen who needed it.

I always get great care from Wendell Richardson.  He is very thorough and his nurses are great also.
