We hired Merrimon to do flowers for our October wedding in Hot Springs, NC. From the moment we began speaking with the staff at Merrimon we felt confident our needs would be met. They are polite, friendly, professional, and through. They anticipated our needs and when we described something we wanted, they immediately understood our idea and made it better using their knowledge and experience. We originally had 2 flower girls but bumped one up to junior bridesmaid last minute, and Merrimon was courteous and quick to respond with the adjustments. The flowers were beautiful and matched precisely with what we had envisioned for our special day. They are also a practical florist and are willing to work within your budget.

I used Merrimon Florist for my wedding day. I had spoke to many florists and none really understood my vision...or my budget! But when I met up with Ken his goal was to make my vision happen and he was able to get that for me within my budget. He just "knew" exactly what I was wanting for my wedding and he gave awesome suggestions on how to cut costs but still get beautiful bouquets...which is exactly what I had at my wedding. I would recommend a million times over!

Two days before my wedding, I received a notification that all the flowers I had ordered wholesale were going to be delivered the day AFTER my wedding. *cue bride breakdown* I looked up local florists and read all of these great reviews about Merrimon Florist and decided to call Steve to see if he could help me out. He SAVED my wedding! He was SO helpful, communicative, and fast and responsible to work with. He was willing to sell me flowers without arranging them, so I could have my stepsister arrange them (as originally intended). In less than a day, I had everything I needed from Steve, and the flowers were way better quality than what I would have had. ALSO the pricing was comparable! When you buy wholesale, you have to order more in quantity to make up for a fair number of stems that will be unusable. With the flowers I got from Steve, every stem was beautiful, so I ended up spending the same amount for the same amount of usable flowers, all of which were better quality than even the best wholesale flowers. I am actually glad the others didn't work out (after some time on the phone with Sam's and Costco, I was refunded) because these were so much better, for the same price! I will always go to Steve for my Asheville floral needs in the future!

My experience with Merrimon Florists was a pleasant one starting with the upbeat young man I spoke to on the phone when first placing my order and continuing with the timely delivery of the beautiful flower arrangement sent to my friend who had just come home from the hospital. We were amazed at how closely the arrangement was to the online picture. My friend loved it & commented on how beautiful it was & how much thought must have gone into the creativity of the arrangement. We will certainly recommend Merrimon Florists to our family & friends!

Can't get any work done today because my wife keeps texting me how beautiful her Valentine's arrangement is. New to the area, but I have found my local florist. Great job!
