I am writing this as a warning for someone else. My daughter (college student) visited this office two times.  She asked several times about insurance, they assured her insurance would pay. I realize there is no guarantee insurance will pay; the office person said she would only need to meet a "co-pay" at the time of service. Today, 9 months later, my daughter receives a collection notice!! Not once did they bill send a bill, or call... NOTHING. There was no due diligence on the practice's part. How would we know of a bill if we NEVER received one? 

We will work this out with the collection company but this has had a devastating effect on my daughter, who is just starting to build reputation with responsibility to creditors. She works hard at school and work. My advice is call continuously to confirm if you have outstanding and unmet charges.

In the end she had to have the dental work redone at another office. Which by the way sent her a reimbursement check because she overpaid her "co-pay" says something about how this office is lacking in the billing area.

I had jaw issues and they have been very gentle and worked with me carefully on that issue. Made some good improvements. Thank you Midwest Dental, Wi Dells

Dr.Moss made this visit painless. I disliked going to the dentist but not anymore. He talked to me making it a very relaxed atmosphere.

I have never been treated so horribly by a front desk receptionist. I called in late November to get a cleaning and consultation appointment set up to have work done before the end of the year. After my cleaning appointment I told the receptionist that I also had an appointment for the dentist to take a look at a few teeth needing work and the possibility of getting extra trays for my Invisalign. I was told that my Invisalign treatment was closed without my consent by the Portage office. I also mentioned I had some money left over in a FSA account that I would like to spend on getting some teeth repaired before the end of the year. The receptionist implied that the work I was requesting to have done needed a consultation first and I should have mentioned the work I needed done at my cleaning appointment, even though I had an appointment the following Monday. It was such an upsetting conversation that I called back and cancelled my appointment. I got a call more than a month later saying that she finally talked to the dentist about the work I requested being done and that they would like me to come in for a "free consultation." I won't be calling you back or giving Midwest Dental any of our business. We've spent thousands of dollars at your offices and we've been treated very poorly.

We started coming here 2 years ago and have always had a great experience. Unfortunately our last visit was not. A lot of the staff has changed, and it no long feels kid friendly.
