I prefer to fly from here. SJC is not huge or intimidating; it's convenient and I have not had any issues or delays in my few visits. Security seems to run smooth and the lines move at a fair to good pace. I appreciate that Starbucks is on your way through the doors. One thing that is helpful to learn: when you park your vehicle you will be paying via a machine in the garage (not an attendant/booth)

SJC may not seem like the fanciest, most accommodating-to-all (or whatever) airport - but it gets it right in core areas. Personally, even living in SF I prefer flying out of this airport. Always ease of access (depart/arrival lanes) and security is very efficient. Rarely wait in long lines or for very long through security, while the process seemed to remain very effective. Always make my flight, easily get home without long baggage claim waits. Lots of stores fulfilling a surprising number of needs inside and easily found without twists or turns or shuttles. Often times I will step out from security and be nearby my gate within just a few minutes. Seems to me this stuff is really what matters in an airport.

Nice small airport which is rarely crowded through security line or at the terminals themselves. Its a still expanding airport but the the structure and the maintenance is pretty good. Airport is clean and if you walk around you'd come across many artwork in the terminal. But nothing much to do if you have a long Transit

Fighting out of San Jose Airport and enjoyed the domestic airport lounge. It is very roomy, nice, clean and friendly staffs. I had an expired Priority Pass and agent figured out a way to clear of entrying the lounge, thank you and appreciated her efforts. Lounge is nice but foods is just ok.

Nice small airport. Easy to get in and out of. Tolerable lines in security. High performing free Wifi.
