This was my first time utilizing the MinuteClinic at CVS. The intake process is needlessly slow with a dated touch screen. Why couldn't I fill this out online when I scheduled/reserved my slot online? The wait time was acceptable (less than fifteen minutes). The nurse practitioner Linette Hawkins, however, was not professional. She needs to learn how to treat patients with kindness and respect. I'm only rating this with two stars due to the nurse practitioner and the intake process. There are positives to be found, but those can be overshadowed by the experience with the nurse practitioner.

Got here at 5pm with only one person in front of me and it's now 7:40 and the nurse practitioner is now seeing the person ahead of me. So about a 3 hour wait for a "minute" clinic. You could go to your doctor and the emergency room and they'd see you quicker than three hours.

Don't EVER go here!!!!!! Minute Clinic is a joke. I went there to get a prescription. Come to find out, my insurance company needed prior authorization. The practitioner they are told me that there was nothing she could do on her part and it was the insurance company's fault. I go back home and I call the insurance company. The insurance company tells me that the practitioner just needs to call them and answer a couple of questions, and then my prescription would be authorized with no problem. I call Medic Clinic and get forwarded to a call center where I was on hold for about 15 minutes. They tell me that they are going to relay the message to the practitioner and that I should be receiving a call saying that it is now 3 hours later, and I still haven't heard anything. So I called MinuteClinic once again comma stay on hold this time for 27 minutes, only to be disconnected. The customer service is horrible! Do not waste your time going to these people

The nurse practitioner Linette Hawkins lacks professionalism, bedside rapport, and overall has suboptimal clinical judgement. Without completing a thorough review of history of my symptoms she diagnosised me with a cold. I wanted to believe her, but unfortunately she didn't even listen to my lungs. She is a poor example of nurse practitioner.
